The third day of the Sportsfest 2025 was filled with numerous activities, beginning with the basketball games held throughout the entire morning. 

       The first event began with the Blue Phoenix and Yellow Griffins’ (3x3) Women’s Basketball match. Shortly after, the Red Mockingjay and Green Cerberus’ match took place. 

       On the other hand, participants gathered for the much anticipated “Laro ng Lahi” held at the CEIS driveway. Loud cheers echoed from the different teams, and the players’ determination was evident in every game. The Yellow Griffins showed what they are capable of as they dominated the various games. Despite challenges such as the scorching heat and minor injuries, the players persevered and pushed through with determination. The activity highlighted the essence of teamwork, strategy, and camaraderie. 

   Meanwhile, the badminton matches for both singles and doubles were happening simultaneously with the table tennis and Laro ng Lahi games. The adrenaline of the badminton players ignited as they showed tenacity, skills, stamina, and speed to fight for a spot on the podium. The teams all came out strong and showed dominance in every rally and the powerful smash of their rackets. 

          Subsequently, the Green Scorpions and Gray Ravens from the elementary department had a thrilling basketball match. It was later followed by the Green Cerberus and Red Mockingjay’s (5x5) Men’s Basketball play. Soon afterward, the Blue Phoenix and Yellow Griffins faced off in the same category on the court.

          The last two basketball matches ended with determining which teams will be hailed as third placers. In the 3x3 Women’s Basketball match, the Red Mockingjay and Yellow Griffins faced one another to claim the title. At last, the 5x5 Men's Basketball Match for Red Mockingjay and Yellow Griffins began. 

            Moreover, the players of table tennis were filled with both nervousness and excitement as they battled for the championship title. The players showed no signs of giving up — delivering aggressive attacks, thrilling rallies, and powerful forehand drives, it was a thrilling game to watch. Some matches even reached five sets, giving everyone an edge-of-your-seat excitement.

The last games — but definitely not the least — were the volleyball matches which energized the afternoon. Starting from the elementary department, the Gray Raves won by default in their match against the Green Scorpions. The announcement was shortly followed by the women’s match with the Red Mockingjay and Green Cerberus. Coming right after was the gameplay between the Yellow Griffins and Blue Phoenix. 

After a while, the two remaining matches for the men’s category continued. The Red Mockingjays were pitted against the Green Cerberus and the Yellow Griffins and Blue Phoenix advanced. 

Finally, the battle for the third place in the women’s volleyball summed up the whole third day celebration of the Sportsfest 2025.
