After several simultaneous athletic and academic events from the previous days, the MACIPRISA Meet 2025 finally reached its end. The third day kicked off with exciting matches and spectacular performances filled with determination, sportsmanship, and pride.
The day began with a thrilling game for the CEIS men’s high school volleyball team as they went against Lord's Angels Montessori School (LAMS) and St. Clement Academy (SCA) consecutively, wherein they clutched a win in both games at STI Malolos. Shortly after, they went against HSAM (Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos) for a stirring battle to determine who will get to proceed to the finals. After a series of exchanged leads, the Scorpions claimed triumph over the Paracletes.
Soon after, the most awaited championship game commenced with a tough battle against LCUP (La Consolacion University of the Philippines), but despite having no breaks in between the matches, CEIS put up a fierce fight. The CEIS men’s high school volleyball team ended their MACIPRISA journey as first runner-up as they fell short against the Bravehearts.
On the other hand, loud and energetic cheers echoed through the atmosphere of the CEIS Centrodome as the Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School Hip-hop Modern Dance Competition started off.
Another notable event that day were the matches played by the CEIS women’s high school volleyball team at BES (Bulacan Ecumenical School). CEIS went against ICSM-SHS for their first game of the day. The Scorpions came out on top, finishing the match with a score of 2–1. Not long after, they battled SCA, putting up an amazing fight. But in the end, they fell short with a score of 2–1.
Meanwhile, multiple basketball games also took place at HSAM. The first match was between CEIS and HSAM for the women’s 3x3 division. The Scorpions dominated the match, allowing them to advance to the finals against LCUP, but the Bravehearts achieved total victory with a final score of 12–3.
The men’s 5x5 high school basketball division also carried on with their first match against BES. Although the Scorpions were persistent all throughout the game, they still fell short against the BESians. They clashed against HSAM next with an intense battle, securing a podium finish as 3rd place overall.
In addition to that, the men’s 3x3 high school basketball division was heating up. CEIS went head-to-head with LAMS, bagging the win and making them advance to the finals round against ICSM in a thrilling championship match. It was a nail-biting performance between both teams. ICSM came out on top with only a one point difference, earning the CEIS men's 3x3 high school basketball team the first runner-up title.
The CEIS Scorpions also glided smoothly through the waters at the swimming competitions with outstanding performances by Shuntaro Sunaga for secondary boys, Caelyn Dae Salac, and Annika Ryne Lee for the secondary girls category.
Furthermore, the sounds of rackets smashing and shuttles dropping filled up Malolos Citywalk as intense badminton matches for the high school level happened. CEIS captured a win for the secondary girls singles A as they were given the title for first runner-up.
Meanwhile, it was also a successful day for the elementary level. The women’s volleyball team started off strong, dominating their match against MQSM (Mary the Queen School of Malolos). Afterwards, they clashed with HSAM for a twice-to-beat battle, with the Scorpions bagging the win. The championship battle finally commenced with CEIS going against HSAM once more. After a hard fought battle, CEIS clinches a win, thus crowning them as the overall champion, and earning them a back-to-back-to-back title—allowing them to advance to the city meet level.
Moving forward with the 5x5 men’s basketball games, CEIS started off the day with an electrifying match against SCA, allowing the Scorpions to gain a win. Next was another championship game for the elementary level, with CEIS going against LCUP. It was a tough match for the Scorpions, ending with a 47–22 loss. Even so, they were still crowned as first runner-up, sealing their MACIPRISA journey.
Subsequently, intense badminton competitions were held at Malolos Citywalk. The elementary boys singles B failed to secure a spot in the podium, while the doubles were named as first runner-up. Furthermore, CEIS then secured a second runner-up spot for elementary girls singles A and a first runner-up title for singles B, while doubles B being second runner-up.
The Battle of the Bands was the last event held at the Centrodome, a live blast of music and fun with the rhythms of music played through the instruments of each band encapsulated the lively afternoon.
Later on, CEIS, as the host school of this year’s MACIPRISA Meet was given a certificate of recognition.
At last but definitely not the least, with precise movement and a keen eye the archery match for secondary boys proceeded at the courtyard of HSAM. Javen Zulueta, the CEIS Scorpions representative, earned the gold title for the olympic event and a silver for the 30m match.
