The 15th day of May 2025 marks a significant day in the lives of the 269 Grade 12 students as they gathered one last time at Guiguinto Municipal Athletic and Cultural Center (GMAC) to celebrate a momentous occasion in their high school lives— their most anticipated graduation. With brimming pride and honor, they finally reap the fruits of their hard-earned labor on this special day.
A Thanksgiving Mass presided by Reverend Fr. Kirth Stephen G. Buluran offered a meaningful message to the graduates. As the mass formally ended, an inspiring opening remark of Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina, the President and Chief Academic Officer of CEU and Member of the Board of CEIS, commenced.
Mr. Algie Juridico, the Education Program Supervisor for SPED and Kindergarten of DepEd-SDO Malolos, guest speaker of the event, emphasized the importance of building one’s legacy; he pointed out that identities are not merely titles, thus an instrument to become pillars of a brighter tomorrow.
The highlight of the event ensued as the Senior High School graduates stepped up on stage to receive their respective diplomas, and the Top 10 graduates were also presented. In his speech, Mark Andrew V. Fulgencio, the batch Valedictorian, expressed his gratitude to his fellow graduates, educators, parents, and guests for being part of this wondrous journey.
“Huwag nating kalilimutan ang pagtingin sa salamin— hindi upang hanapin ang ating kahinaan, kundi upang kilalanin kung gaano na tayo katatag.” The last statement of his speech further stressed the importance of acknowledging one’s strength and resilience amidst the journey it has been. It has been a long trail yet the fruits of one’s perseverance remain sweet.
The ceremony ended with two heartfelt songs, Brent Morgan’s version of “You’ll Be In My Heart” played as the background music while the graduates gave roses to their parents. With hearts overflowing with joy and fulfillment, the moment initiated a wholehearted atmosphere in the venue as the graduates paid tribute to their parents.
Another song entitled “Saranggola” by Ben&Ben was also enacted, reflecting on the notable memories of yesterday. The song exemplifies the beginning of an end, indicating a new chapter in the path that the graduates will take. Another adventure and discoveries await them, and along with that is the opportunity to seize what lies ahead. As they embark on the next journey of their lives, the pride of being an Escolarian is forever embedded in them — upholding Science and Virtue into the real world that may spark stories of hope and change.
